AchieveMents: We have declared 635 Sq.km of our forest area as Community Conserved Area to conserve our rich forest area. We have promoted community based eco-tourism as an incentive to the villagers for their conservation initiatives. We are also working on bio-briquette production to reduce consumption of firewood. We have formed SHGs for handicraft and handloom production to be sold to the market. We are also exploring the micro-finance system to make these SHGs self sustainable
