AchieveMents: • 287 Community volunteers trained on various welfare schemes, rights, entitlements, laws and legal mechanisms • About 46 persons trained on how to address sexual abuse issues supported by Odisha State Commission for Women. • Conducted a awareness Training for 35 volunteers on use of benefits e-governance and information & communication technologies • Public authorities approached in 530 matters benefitting 3000 poor and marginalised people • Two studies conducted on the functioning of Odisha Human Rights Commission and Odisha State Women Commission • 20 Awareness workshops organised on people friendly police reforms • Continuing Free Counselling Centre named as ‘Social Facilitation Centre’ for marginalized people such as SC/ST, Women, Children and others seeking to avail various public services and utilities • Published of two fact finding guidebook for community volunteers for awareness building among communities • Organized a numbers of Citizens Convention on Peace, Justice and Communal Harmony among people at different parts of Odisha. • 32 children being trafficked to Karnataka were rescued and brought back to their respective schools • 5 lakh rupees compensation ordered by NHRC to an aged women against violation of her right to health, after CSNR intervention. • One lakh rupees compensation has been recommended by OHRC to a sexual assault victim • OHRC recommended to SC/ST department to ensure adequate facilities to a SC/ST Seva Ashram school in Narayan Patna block of Koraput District. • 10 numbers of awareness Trainings have been conducted to orient 300 community volunteers at regional and districts • Report on Odisha State Commission for Women done to create more awareness among women seeking relief and justice. • CSNR succeeded in involving NHRC, OHRC, OSCW, OSCPCR, and OSCPWD representatives to increase understanding and accessibility of community representatives to public authorities • 300 Bonded labors got released and rehabilitated (Example cases: 1323/18/5/2014-BL, 998/18/2/2014-BL etc) • 2000 Villagers benefitted after Construction of bridge in Malkanagiri (NHRC case No. 1027/18/29/2014) • 200 Villagers of Kusumbhatta (Korapurt) gets welfare schemes of Govt. (NHRC case No. 1727/18/8/2014) • 168 Bonded labor compensated Rs. 19,000/ each in Bolangir (NHRC case No. 3982/18/2/2014-BL) • Minor boy gets Compensation of 25000/ in Bargarh – 1 (NHRC case No. 3246/18/17/2012) • Youth gets Compensation of 15000/- in Kendrapara – 1 (NHRC case No. 1482/18/27/2013) • Injured labor gets Compensation of 3,00,000/- in Puri – 1 (NHRC case No. 2812/13/26/2014) • Ailing Ayus lady doctor gets compensation of 75,000/- –1 (NHRC case No. 4956/18/12/2014) • 1000 People of Daruthenga village near Bhubaneswar benefitted (NHRC case No. 1003/18/28/2015) • Provided to relief during super-cyclone in Jagatsinghpur and Jajpur districts
