Lions Club of Raniganj has taken a project for expansion of Raniganj Lions JDMC DAV Public School anticipating direct benefit of more than four hundred families of this locality. This Higher Secondary school started in collaboration with DAV, New Delhi where every year we were denying more than four hundred students of the locality due to paucity of class rooms. We intended to construct seven class rooms with other facilities to serve more people. First phase of the project has been completed.

Second phase for expansion of Raniganj Lions JDMC DAV Public School has been completed. Seven class rooms with drinking water space and teachers room constructed and furniture also been procured. We may cater the entire eastern cold field area in the district of Purba and Paschim Bardhaman, Bankura and Birbhum partly and adjacent district of Jharkhand state. Student with both Below poverty line and well to do communities will be benefited from this projects to build up there career initially.
