AchieveMents: RC as a platform initiated and supported three to five years and then facilitated the formation and registration of Thirty One NGO and CBO working independently
Conducting Training and Capacity Building Programme a Certificate Courses affiliated with Department of Continuing and Adult Education and Extension work SNDT Women University Mumbai for various target groups graduates youth women landless small and marginal farmers field government officials from various departments PRI members artisans and others
Integrated Watershed Development with the support of NABARD CAPART Sir Dorabji Tata Trust for Shedashi Wavoshi Watershed and Amba Valley of Raigad District
Actively involved in Detail Watershed Planning such as Mega Watershed for around Seventy Thousand Ha of Chiplun and Khed Taluka of Ratnagiri and Micro Watershed Planning for three villages of Jawhar Thane
With active support of UNDP and MoEF and in joint collaboration with State Forest Department implemented Insitu conservation of medicinal plants in Thirteen Medicinal Plants Conservation Areas of Maharashtra
As a follow up RC with support of SEED Division Department of Science and Technology GoI New Delhi implemented over 10 projects specially to strengthen and initiate various livelihood and community development projects for the surrounding community of MPCA
For advocacy and training and capacity building RC has been involved in Integrated Watershed Management programme with the support of YASHADA State Training Centre and VASUNDHARA State Implementing Agency conducted training for various District Watershed Implementing Team Watershed Development and Village Watershed Committee Members and Panchayat Raj Institutions
With active support of SDTT an innovative Pilot Project on Agriculture Intervention was initiated for SRI minor millets pulses along with Twelve NGO Partners
UNDP and National Medicinal Plants Board New Delhi has commissioned Market Study to RC for Supply and Value chains of major medicinal plants in various mandis of Gujarat and Maharashtra
With support of Tata Power Pvt Ltd and Tata Power Community Development Trust interventions in Tata Lakes Andhra Shirwata and Kundli and Bhivpuri Power House in Forty Three Tribal villages of Maval and Karjat Tribal Blocks Activities are Rainwater Harvesting Sustainable Agriculture Formation of local organisations community seed banks
In joint collaboration with ICRISAT Hyderabad and local registered tribal CBO working in six tribal villages of Jawhar Block Palghar implementing Improving Climate Resilience of the Tribal Farmers desilting and repairing of existing water structures farm land improvement demonstration of ICRISAT developed seeds
Supporting three scientists to strengthen RCs interventions in Science and Technologies with Long Term Core Support under Technological Advancement for Rural Areas by SEED division Department of Science and Technology New Delhi
RC have been conducting live field trials of living bio organisms bio fertilisers and bio pesticides with 150 small and marginal farmers and vertical bag agriculture using reuse synthetic bags for vegetable cultivation with women and landless families
