AchieveMents: 1.SRC Raipur has developed and published Basic Literacy Primers (Akhar Jhanpi) for non literates and Setu Praveshika(Bridge Primer) for semi literates. SRC has also developed 6 basic literacy primers in local dialects like Sargujiha, Sadri, Kudukh, Halbi, Gondi and Chhattisgarhi & Digital Primers also. 2.SRC, Raipur has conducted an in-depth action research on ‘Girls trafficking’ in tribal district of Jashpur. On the basis of this action research Zee-24 TV channel has made a National programme (Documentary Film) namely “Kahan Gai Wo”. 3. SRC has conducted 14 literacy camps for non-literate women. These were organized for Most Backward Communities especially Tribal, Scheduled Caste and Muslim women. 4. Our five books for neo-literates had been translated into Malayalam by Mr. Raju Narayan Swamy, Higher Education Secretary, Kerala and those were released by Late Mr. V K Krishna Iyer, Ex- Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India. 5. SRC, Raipur has been felicitated with Saakshar Bharat National Literacy Award, the literacy prize at national level, delivered by Mr. Hamid Ansari, Hon’ble Vice President of India on the 8th September, 2012, the International Literacy Day.
