AchieveMents: We assist various schools, colleges and institutions involved in the field of education. We are also involved in providing technical and vocational assistance. Provide legal assistance to the poor and downtrodden. Take up civic and humanitarian issues in the city of Mumbai especially in the slums. Advocated the establishment of a centre for APMC to control rates of vegetable & fruits, to enable the local population to get vegetable, fruits & poultry products at reasonable rates. Protect the land that was allotted for parks and playgrounds from encroachment. Took up the issue for better &uninterrupted proper supply of electricity to consumers. The Trust is involved in providing medical relief to hospitals, dispensaries, convalescent homes, asylums and nursing homes. We grant medical help to the poor and other deserving persons during epidemic, famine, floods, earthquakes and other unforeseen calamities. We also help rehabilitate mentally retarded people. In rural areas we organise talks on the ill-effects of smoking and chewing tobacco. Eye camps, cancer camps and medical check-ups are also organised. Swachat Abhiyans are organised wherein villagers are encouraged to take care of their environment and the ill effects of indiscriminate chopping of trees are explained to them. Tree plantation dives have been organised to help green rural areas. We have helped in the building of toilets and have advised them about the ill effects of open defecation. Since Physical Health is of great importance, we provide for the maintenance of play grounds, and recreational clubs with the intention of developing Indian sports by providing financial and other assistance to Indian sportsmen and women. We also cater to the needs of people in general by maintenance of gardens, gymnasiums and physical and cultural centres that cater to the all round growth and development of the citizens of this country.
